From a Single Day to a Lifelong Passion: Why I Chose Bridal and Beyond

There are moments in life that clarify everything. For me, that moment came in the form of a daunting challenge: creating a wedding dress in a single day. A friend’s delivery was delayed, and she turned to me as her backup plan. Her wedding was the next day. The pressure was immense, and part of me thought I was crazy for saying yes. But her trust in me was the most flattering thing I had ever experienced.

That sleepless night was one of the most stressful of my life, but the result was more than just a dress. It was a revelation. Seeing her walk down the aisle in something I made was an incredible feeling. In that moment, I realized that this wasn’t just a stressful project—it was a profound awakening. This was it. This was my field. I’d always had a little girl’s dream of owning a bridal shop, but that day solidified it. It made me realize that my passion for fashion wasn’t just about creating beautiful garments; it was about being a part of a person's most important and joyful moments. It’s about the trust they place in me and the love that inspires the work.

That experience was a tribute to my friends, Mr. and Ms. Bugga, whose love has always been a beacon for me. The way they chose each other with such certainty and are now building a beautiful family is an inspiration. Their love story, and the trust they placed in me for their big day, fueled my own journey.

Now, my creative journey has expanded. Recently, I was honored to create custom pants for their two beautiful toddlers. To go from making a dress for their wedding to crafting clothes for their children has been a full-circle moment for me. It’s a joy to create not just tailored pieces, but to design and craft baby clothes from scratch, building a tangible connection to their growing family.

That one stressful day taught me more about my path than any other experience. It showed me that my calling is in celebrating love, whether it's through a wedding gown or a pair of toddler pants. My work is not just about fabric and thread; it's about trust, inspiration, and being a part of the most cherished moments in people’s lives.
